The daily maintenance of diamond chutes (logistics sorting matrix diamond chutes) focuses on keeping the chute clean, structurally secure, with stable buffering performance and no deformation or jamming, to ensure smooth package sliding, reduce damage, and extend its lifespan. The following are official, standardized, and directly executable maintenance procedures.
1、 Daily inspection (5-10 minutes before/after shift)
1. Surface cleaning
Wipe the inner surface, side panel, and buffer strip of the chute with a dry/semi wet cloth to remove dust, paper scraps, tape, oil stains, and packaging debris.
It is strictly prohibited to use strong acids, strong alkalis, and strong solvents (such as acetone and banana water) to avoid corrosion of polymer/metal coatings.
2. Structure and connection inspection
Check the chute module, bracket, bolts, nuts, and pins for looseness, detachment, or displacement. If any looseness is found, tighten them immediately.
Check whether the seams, corners, and drop points are misaligned, curled edges, and burrs to prevent the package from getting stuck or scratched.
3. Buffer and lining inspection
Check whether the buffer strip, wear-resistant lining plate, and PU/rubber lining have fallen off, cracked, lifted, or worn to expose the bottom.
Check for deformation, looseness, and abnormal noise in the diamond grid and diversion guide plate to ensure fast guidance.
4. Operation and foreign object inspection
Empty observation: Check if the package slides smoothly, uniformly, without any jamming, jumping, or abnormal noise.
Remove hard objects, metal parts, debris, and accumulated water from the chute to prevent scratching the chute and package.
2、 Weekly maintenance (once a week, 20-30 minutes)
1. Deep cleaning
Clean oil stains, glue stains, and stubborn dirt with a neutral cleaner and warm water mixed with a soft cloth/brush; Rinse with clean water and wipe dry to prevent corrosion caused by accumulated water.
Key cleaning: inside the grille, corners, sliding acceleration section, and gaps in the cushion pad (prone to dirt accumulation).
2. Lubrication and transmission (including power/drum section)
Rollers, bearings, hinges, and movable joints: Add universal lithium grease/mineral oil to ensure smooth rotation and no dry or abnormal noise.
Manual/pneumatic diversion mechanism: Check that the action is in place and there is no jamming, and adjust the limit and cylinder pressure if necessary.
3. Wear and deformation retesting
Use a ruler/template to check the straightness of the slide, the verticality of the side panels, and the spacing between the grid openings. If there is any obvious deformation, immediately correct or replace it.
If the inner lining wears out more than 1/3 of the thickness, has grooves, or exposes the bottom: replace it in a timely manner to avoid direct metal friction and wrapping.
3、 Monthly maintenance (once a month, 30-60 minutes)
1. Full structure fastening
Tighten all bolts, connecting brackets, feet, and lifting points according to the equipment torque standard.
Check for cracks and open welds at welding and riveting points, and promptly repair/reinforce them.
2. Function and safety checks
Test whether the functions of diversion, merging, grid switching, blocking, counting, etc. are normal and respond quickly.
Check that the protective fence, warning signs, and emergency stop switch are intact and effective.
3. Corrosion prevention and appearance maintenance
Metal parts: touch up paint to prevent rust, remove paint, rust, and oxidation points.
Polymer/composite materials: Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight, high temperature, and low temperature freeze-thaw cycles, and if necessary, apply sunscreen and dust cover.
4、 Quarterly/Semi Annual Deep Maintenance
1. Disassembly and inspection (modular)
Disassemble the inner lining strip, buffer block, guide plate, and grille components, clean and inspect for wear, cracks, and deformation.
Replace the defective parts uniformly to ensure consistent performance of the same layer/line sliding groove.
2. Accuracy calibration
Calibrate the levelness, straightness, drop angle, and grid alignment to ensure stable downward trajectory.
Power/drum line: calibrate tension, parallelism, motor and chain/belt status.
3. Professional cleaning (optional)
Mild oil contamination: Ultrasonic/low-pressure steam cleaning (temperature control to avoid damaging the lining).
It is strictly prohibited for high-pressure water guns to directly hit bearings, electronic controls, cylinders, and joints.
5、 Maintain records and handle exceptions
Establish a checklist: record cleaning, fastening, lubrication, replacement, abnormalities, and handling results.
Immediately shut down for maintenance in the following situations:
The sliding groove is significantly deformed, broken, and extensively delaminated
Frequent package jamming, increased damage rate, and abnormal sliding
Loose bolts, bracket welding failure, structural abnormal noise, and flow failure
